There’s a certain Urban Legend quality to this. Yeah, those toe-tip shoes are totally real in the fetish realm, as are the horsey shoes. However, the likelyhood of them ever being seen as trendy dance club wear is probably bogus. Also, some of the more silly platformed fuck-me boots look awfully photoshopped. Me thinks you’re being played.
Most of those are fetish shoes - S/M, bdsm. Not shoes that anyone is going to wear around normally. In fact, many people use them specifically to keep someone from walking around easily.
Believe me, most people cannot walk in ballet boots. That’s the idea.
Those particular pictures might be Photoshopped, but I have seen the same or similar for sale in real stores and in on-line catalogues. You can easily find 6" platforms in any fetish shoe store. They are pretty common.
I’m just imagining a club full of “S&M-chic” London trendie chicks wearing shoes like those, when a fire breaks out. Just think of the scene as they all begin rushing toward the door!

I thought they were great, personally, but then I have a foot-fetish-fetish. (FYI that’s when you like to have people worship your feet.) I could picture wearing some of those quite happily, actually, as long as I had someone to admire them.
Does anyone remember that website with that girl who had the fourteen inch waist (corsetted)? I think she had some of those boots-she was trying to condition her feet so that if she didn’t wear shoes like this, she wouldn’t be able to walk. (All because her boyfriend like it…)
