Very, very funny. Shame there’s no Cusack. The first one was a very nice surprise – expected a derivative, forgetable, dumb juvenile comedy, and got an original, unforgettable, and hilarious dumb juvenile comedy.
I hope it doesn’t suffer the same problem most follow ups have in sucking. I really would like this to work as I loved the first one! Losing Cusack is unfortunate.
I’d advise people to not watch the trailer, because I’m pretty sure it gives away the ending.
I’m excited for this though, looks like it can be as good as the first. And I’m fine with losing Cusack, I felt he kinda brought the whole movie down a bit from the the wacky comedy.
I’m getting excited about seeing it this Friday. I haven’t read any of the other posts or watched the trailer–I don’t want any spoilers! I really loved the first one and just hope that the sequel will be half as good.
I can’t wait to see this once it’s on non-PPV cable at a time where I’m not recording anything else.
I saw it last night (opening night), and the place was PACKED–I think there were 17 or 18 people in the whole theater! At any rate, I really enjoyed it. I was worried that it would suck based on the bad reviews, but I thought it was almost as good as the first one. It also taught me a new word for my vocabulary: awss (2025 slang for awesome). Adam Jr.'s babbling on and on about his wedding plans was hilarious.
