I haven’t had that particular error message, but I have been having problems with Hotmail sporadically over the last couple of weeks, too. I think there was another thread here in GQ about it last week. I’m getting mostly blank white screens when I try to send a message; apparently some people are losing entire inbox contents. Don’t know what’s going on, but if anyone still has any gmail invites, I’ll take you up on it right now, thank you

Try updating windows on the Microsoft site.
Favorites => Links => Windows should get you started.
I couldn’t get into hotmail for a week, but after updating windows, it works fine.
Apparently, the fix is to delete your temporary Internet files.
