I would agree with Christia Aguilera. She is a very beautiful women and as she evolves from the weird costumes of her early years into the more classic look she has been going with more recently, it becomes more obvious.
I don’t really care for her style of music but I think most people would agree she can sing.
I think Aimee Mann is one of the most beautiful creatures ever to walk the earth.
Of course, I also think this about Twiggy Ramirez, so feel free not to trust my judgement at all.

Well, thirty years ago anyway. They aren’t bad now, and I’m actually interested in what they sound like these days. If they don’t rock loud I’m not interested.
I might be stretching the definition of “brilliant” slightly, but Heather Nova does have some really good songs, and even if you don’t agree with that, you pretty much have to agree that she makes up for it with her holy-crap-I-could-stare-at-her-all-day good looks.

To my mind, Kate has the uncanny ability of being dead sexy while fully dressed, expecially when the lyrics are sexy. For instance, I think “The Sensual World” is drop dead sexy, with lyrics inspired by Molly Bloom’s Soliloquy from James Joyce’s Ulysses (the James Joyce estate refused her permission to directly quote key passages so she had to improvise). When you realize what she’s singing about, the song just drips sex, which makes the video even sexier, even though she’s wearing a heavy Victorian dress. I mean, come on,

C, D, E, F, G…oh hell, there are a lot more but they’re too damn small. So many great photos are something like 95x95 or whatever.
So, he’s a “type” with the elongated face, and he can in some pictures look very goofy and wear goofy clothes, but oftentimes I think he’s dreamy, and he definitely fits the “brilliant” part of the OP.
I think Rodrigo is pretty hot.
Tomoko Kawase…a beautiful woman, and a great singer and lyricist. (The top picture on that article doesn’t do her justice…bad angle, and black hair doesn’t suit her. But the other shots look good.)
