House 10/31 Welcome back!!

I’m also hoping that House’s behavior is serving a plot purpose other than the writers thinking that they have to keep making him a bigger and bigger asshole just to keep him interesting. He has been steadily moving from jerk to full on psycho, and if there is no plot purpose, I’m going to be VERY disappointed.

I loved this episode! If the cop had been angry, yelling, or rough, the scenes with him and House would not have been nearly as powerful. The cop actor played it just right. There was amazing chemistry between the two, and for me, it ratcheted up the drama intensely.

From one woman’s perspective, though, House’s hawwtness dropped with his “caught” face, and the cop became the hawwt one. Forgive me for my fickle nature, House!

What was with Cameron being all snarky at the beginning? She was totally hilarious! Is this a new leaf for her or did I forget some drastic change that occurred before the break?

I think the cop’s acting (the way the cop acted) was awesome as well. He was sort of going for that “I am an even MORE insane evil genius than you are - and I have a badge!” thing.

I really liked this ep.

I would have enjoyed the episode more if the ending hadn’t been spoiled by the promo for the episode at the beginning of the episode which showed, if memeory serves, House getting arrested by someone. Don’t remember if you actually see the cop, but it becomes obvious who the cop’s going to be as the episode progresses. But that’s a moot point because this week’s TV Guide has a picture showing both House and the cop during the arrest scence which spoiled it for me when I saw it several days ago. Why can’t they figure out a way to promote these shows without spoiling the shows? I vigorously avoid the “Next week on. . .” previews at the end of shows, but they are harder to avoid during the intervening week, and all but impossible to avoid when shown just before the episode starts.

That’s been happening a lot this season. Not consistently – sometimes she spontaneously reverts to a wimp – but it has been happening a lot.

The character has been set up to face a drug prob for a long time.If he is under severe pain the meds have to be taken. However if he took them without a prescription his license to practice could be taken away. That would end the show ,so they have to find a way to work around that,

You’ve just articulated one of my biggest pet peeves with network TV. I remember previews of Frasier, for instance, that showed the show’s payoff.

Back to House: One thing I noticed was how the doctors could throw around $100 bills like loose change. If I had lost the bet, I’d have had to whip out my check book.

You are King Pengvin? Then clearly you’re just defending House because he’s your son!
