Tonight is the first of four new eps. It’s called “No More Mr. Nice Guy” and involves a patient whose niceness is apparently a symptom of something really, really wrong–at least, it seems that way to our beloved cranky doc. And he’s probably right.
Well, he can’t be right until he’s popped a handful of Vicodin. After that, he can be right!
Seriously, my teenager and I are very much looking forward to a new ep, and have the DVR set to record it!
Anybody calling me from 9 to 10 p.m. tonight better be doing so to say that flames are coming from my roof.
I can’t wait. Current story arc still has Heartless Bitch dating Wilson…aaaaaand where were we at with the rest of the minions?
HOLY CRAP!!! That’s on TONIGHT? I forgot. Now I’m happy. Sweet.
Damn. I’m having a second sleep study tonight. They have a TV in the room, so I may get lucky. More likely, they’ll still be pasting wires to me when it starts.
I’ll have to dig out the VCR. Thanks for the heads-up.
I believe you mean Cutthroat Bitch.
So was the blood in the lab labeled “House” really Cutthroat Bitch’s? I just find it hard to believe House would leave his blood laying around and she’s the only other person with an extreme personality. Did I miss something about how the blood ended up in the lab?
I guess that answers that. So was that a test for Wilson? And what the hell? Wilson goes to get his bowling shoes and tattles to CTB? Getting really annoyed with Wilson.
I think they said it had been taken at some point in the past. It was not CBs.
Did anyone else think that the relationship between Wilson, House, and CB is downright creepy? Wilson sitting silently while they decide what he can do with his days?
Cutthroat Snatch bitch snitches on faux syph switch…
Nice ending scene though, where they both are doing bodily chores with a patient.
I could be losing my mind, but it seems to me like Wilson is setting up CB and House to date. It’s weird all right, but Wilson seems so disinterested in it all.
Happy to see House back, though.
What was the funny look on the wife’s face when the patient said he didn’t like ketchup about? That he had changed and maybe wouldn’t be so nice?
He had just said something like “wonder what else I don’t like anymore,” right? I took her uncomfortable look to mean that she was scared that he wouldn’t like her so much any more, either.
I took it as sly writing that ketchup meant he wasn’t a vegetable anymore. Maybe reading to much into it, I’m late coming into this show, but really, really love it for the smarts!
I found the episode great but there wasn’t any outstanding moments like previous episodes have had. Although I did chuckle at how everybody was actually worried that House was getting nicer. Which actually leads me to a question…has Cameron had sex with House? As far as I can recall they haven’t done it on-screen. Has it been implied that there might have been an off-screen dalliance?
Last season, in the episode about the brain-damaged musical prodigy, Cameron said that she’d never slept with House. Since she said it to House, I think we can assume that this is true (or was true last year, anyway):
CAMERON: …I’m really glad we never slept together, but…
HOUSE: We would have used a condom and I don’t have syphilis.

They were playing the whole House/CB/Wilson interaction like two divorced parents coming to visitation arrangements with their child. Both House and CB are strong personalities with Wilson more sweet and non-confrontational. Wilson, just like a child, was thoroughly enjoying the attention and the fight for his time.
All in all I found this episode rather disjointed. Never understood what the guy had or if his niceness was indeed a symptom. Still gotta love him though.
Why was it that House and CB were working on the patient at the end?
Man, I’d love me a play date with Wilson.
It was their punishment for breaking their agreement for which Cuddy was moderating.
