House 11/14

Damn kingpengvin! I missed what you were saying here until I read Improv Geek’s comment in post #24 about Moriarty. Good comment for a Sherlock Holmes fan such as me. (Could you guess?) Thanks!

I’ve rarely liked the characters David Morse plays. I do keep thinking “He’s the psycho who let the plague loose” due to his role in Twelve Monkeys. I can’t recall him from Contact though.

My real gripe with this episode is how the cop had total access to the hospital and the doctors. I work in a hospital, and there’s no way that guy would get past the front doors. And if he did, there is no physician on the face of the US who would talk to a cop without an atty.

But the medical stuff…ah, I love John Larroquette, they could have given him Scrapie and I would have gone with it.

Baa Baa Black Sheep…

You raise an interesting point, especially since you think that this would actually represent Cuddy’s worst nightmare: Actual legal repercussions for something that House has done. With Wilson and the Dr’s 3 in on it there’s no way she wasn’t told that the cop is coming around, and knowing that there’s no way she would let docs on her staff talk to him while in her hospital. Nice catch Light Strand.

Plus all the doctors have the legal right to tell the cop to [del]fuck off[/del] go away and leave me alone.

Skimmed thru this thread real quick since I haven’t seen this week’s show yet, but I have a question:

Is anyone else thinking that this David Morse character is being groomed for his own show?

David Morse’s cop character couldn’t make it through 30 minutes of TV before we’d all be bored out of our minds. His character only works in the context of “House”. We have no idea what his day job is, but he’s a suburban NJ cop. What sort of crimes does he have to investigate? Why else would he have so much time to investigate House?
