My friends refer(red) to Ron Silver as “that guy that looks like Andy Garcia”, so he’s clearly the guy that looks like the guy who looks like Andy Garcia (but isn’t Andy Garcia).
In between he did play a few bars from Phantom of the Opera, according to the closed-captioning.
Definitely! Why else the cape comment?
I’d love to see Hugh Laurie play the Phantom
Did you watch last Thursday’s “Grey’s Anatomy”? He was the husband of a PotW. And another vote for “just like Ron Silver”. (Which jolts me given that Silver is dead.) So I guess he had to fly from Seattle to Princeton between Thursday and Monday. Him showing up was definitely a “gimme” in giving away the plot.
(Appearing on two medical shows within a week is not all that uncommon.)
And … All these posts and no one complains about the really crappy astronomy lecture at the beginning? The size of the observable universe was given as something like 40 billion light years across. The actual diameter is around 28 billion light years. But some of the things we see are maybe 45 billion light years away now due to expansion. So you could also cite 90 billion if you wanted to go that way. (I don’t.) But the real killer is that we can only see 4% of the observable universe bit. That’s ridiculous. We have no clue about percentages except for limits given by different models which differ by enourmous magnitudes.
I thought it was House, but I usually do something else while watching tv, so it doesn’t have my complete attention - anybody else remember this?
It was House.
