Yes, I know I should have done this as a combo thread in the first place. Oh well.
Can’t wait to see how they figure out this mess and treat Foreman.

With all that was going on, I wonder how they found the time to do a spine implant on Cameron!
I don’t know if it was the glass of wine I had or the episode itself but this was had me all verklempt. I smell an Emmy!
Looks to me like there should have been a Part 3 of 3.
No. Not needed.
Forman’s probably messing with House. Or they could just deal with the situation as part of the ongong stories.
Charles S. Dutton as the dad, amazing as always. Not sure why he isn’t credited at IMDB. Omar Epps broke out his acting chops a bit too.
Their scene together where: Foreman was being put under was outstanding, although I thought Cameron’s line immediately after detracted a bit.
This is the first episode in a long time where I actually cared at all about the medical part. Good that the writers aren’t completely giving in to sideplots.
Epps’ acting last night scared me a couple of times. He looked positively insane at certain points and it gave me the screaming willies.
Again I say, “Bravo!” I hate the character, but love the actor, which means in a twisted way, I also like the character for being able to dislike him so much. Make sense? Characters you love to hate, and all that.
And here’s to hoping Cameron finds a donor to give her a spine. Instead of coming off humanitarian, she’s coming up “doormat” in my book.
Great episode. I was so moved by Omar Epps and Charles Dutton. Great casting - just outstanding, Emmy worthy work.
The look on Cam’s face when she realized that the surgery wasn’t needed was amazing. Great acting there too.
House’s emotional turmoil touched me more this episode than ever before.
I love this show!
Fantastic episode. Great acting. I enjoyed it even though I was hoping the apartment was a red herring, and the actual cause would come out of left field.
I’m a bit surprised that they couldn’t get a biopsy of the dead cop but they could get a biopsy of the person dying of the same disease. I’m not sure what other options they had which would work with the plot, but that struck me as odd. It’s not like the dead guy’s flesh is more contagious than Foreman’s
I was thankful for the bit of humor relief involving the little girl.
Man, what an episode. And now Foreman doesn’t know right from left?? Oy!
Oh yeah! That reminds me, my new favorite euphemism is “marching the penguin”.
True. But did you notice that instead of telling Cameron, “Hang on a minute! I think I have the cause.” He just left her hanging. Failure to communicate effectively on House’s part caused her to opt for the surgery, from what I saw. Didn’t he just hang up on her, then trace the water source?
Ya-yaing the sisterhood.
Finding Nemo.
Those had me cracking up.
I think Foreman has had some sort of personality change from the surgery. In the preview of next week, House said, “I want the guy I hired back.” (or something to that effect). And I have to figure if the brain can learn to swap up and down in a few weeks, it can do the same with left and right.
Emmy? Emmy. And Cameron’s character was so true to form it hurt. She couldn’t stand to not help Foreman. That’s why she went to the apartment, even though she knew she very likely didn’t have the infection. She couldn’t bear to not do everything to help Foreman, who was now damaged in her eyes, even though he disavowed friendship with her and stole her article.
It was great when she told Cuddy off! And a letdown when she said “sorry” right away. Very in keeping with the character, I just wish she had left it in the air the way House would.
Mein gott - that episode was fricking brilliant.
What the hell was that water hole the pigeons were crowding around, anyway?
Beautissimo! Bravo! More! More! For fuck sakes can this guy get an Emmy???!!!
This cast has amazing chemistry in their lack of chemistry.
I especially loved how Foreman yelled at Cutty/Cuddy, he was well aware of who was making his survival difficult.
I thought it was very nice that when Cameron took off her helmet outside of Foreman’s apartment after walking around in the biohazard suit, so she could talk to House, her hair was still perfect.
Wouldn’t the average person sweat a lot in one of those?
Not that I was complaining about the way she looks.
