House season premiere 10/3: "Twenty Vicodin"

BryanM - I seriously doubt the government can deprive a handicapped individual of necessary medical devices. You could ask JamieMcGarry, he’s sure to know.

I don’t remember the exact context, but at some point it was stated that it was a “prison approved cane”. I can imagine that they have some sort of approval process for that sort of thing. They are required by law to care for prisoners’ medical needs.

Oh yes, there are many medical appliances approved and allowed in prison. As has been stated, it’s basically illegal to deny someone medical apparatus that has been shown is required.

My thought when the one guy talked with House in his cell and then walked out of the cell with House’s cane was ‘How are the guards allowing HIM to walk around with that cane?’ Believe me, the guards know who does and doesn’t have a cane, hehe.

Heck, the Armstrong case made such a stink…and that’s just regarding parole hearings…that we have trainings on it at least once a year.

I can’t believe they cast Jaleel White and put his name near the top of the opening credits and gave him like 4 minutes of screen time.

He must be coming back later. Otherwise, that’s absurd.

I saw his name in the opening credits, but then forgot to watch for him. Who was he?

Also - it was fun to see the SecNav from NCIS and one of the cops from “Cold Case” in the episode, although I have no idea what their names are.

The trusty who was going to score House some vicodin.

Finally saw it last night. The hard part to believe that House was doing hard time – he would have more likely been put into a minimum security prison, even if he took the guilty plea. The show itself was OK, but House needs better people as foils.

Yeah, interesting credits. In addition to Urkel, Michael Paré (Eddie and the Cruisers anyone?) was also credited in the opening but a very small role.

Odette Annable was listed after Laurie in the credits (before the other opening stuff) in the spot reserved for Wilson, Cuddy and the Ducklings.

Her IMDb listing has … some interesting information regarding her. Do NOT go there if you don’t want interesting information. You are warned.

Okay, I’ll bite. What was so “interesting” at her IMDb page that we needed a warning? I didn’t see anything alarming there.

she’s slated for 5 episodes
