HouseBroken (animated sitcom)

Has anyone else watched the Fox animated show HouseBroken (about household pets having group therapy sessions)? I hadn’t even heard anything about it until it had finished airing, but I thought it was really funny, with a good mix of relationship humour and pet humour. And it had some very funny comedians in it (Lisa Kudrow, Sam Richardson, Tony Hale, Sharon Horgan, Will Forte).

Any other fans out there? Apologies if I missed an existing thread, but I swear I searched for one.

We watched it too. It was decent. We really like the character of Chief, such a real dog. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I’ve watched a couple of episodes. The jokes just didn’t land for me. The jokes they used were jokes pet owners have been hearing for years. Nothing new or fresh in there.

I gave up on it.

Does she play a smelly cat?

Alas, she plays a poodle therapy dog.

That is probably far better than having a lame meta-joke.

Just to be clear: a dog that acts like a psychologist, not a “therapy animal” (although there is one of those in the show as well).
