I notice a lot of real estate is taken up by “check your email” stickies. Can we get rid of those?

Also: in the(Mine anyway) new UI the forum rules are all the threads that are visible on the front page. Maybe we can streamline that a bit?
Click the pin button beside the thread or scroll down to the Pinned box and change it to Unpinned, and the formerly pinned thread will fall to its rightful place in the thread list.
