How birthrates affect the electoral map

The higher the white total fertility rate in a particular state, the more likely that state will vote Republican, according to Steve Sailor in The American Conservative. He adds,

I had been noticing this phenomenon for quite a while, but rarely saw it laid out statistically in black and white (or red and blue).

And this probably isn’t a short-term phenomenon. With more children to impart their values to, red state dwellers have a long-term advantage over blue state residents.

Thoughts, anyone?

Well that doesn’t explain the Hispanic vote.

I think that a fundemental shift is happening where not only conservative views are in the ‘alternative media’ but the ‘conventianal media’ has proven itself to be liberal (i.e. Dan Rather). Add to that, one of the Hollywood elite is willing to produce a movie for the apperent only reason to get W not re-elected and one has to wonder which party is really for the little guy.

I really don’t see how white birthrates could be outstripping non-white birthrates overall; the opposite seems to be the more likely trend.

No one said white fertility rates were outstripping anyone else’s. But whites vote at a higher rate than any other racial group.
