My better half has been secretly hoarding viral music videos in secrecy from me. For YEARS even! I’m still in shock.

Pomplamoose was one, but they have been mentioned on the Dope elsewhere. I believe this will be the first thread about Ronald Jenkees, though.

From what I understand his youtube videos are mostly improvisations. The boy is clearly channeling some mighty musical mojo, and is so obviously having fun you can’t help but have fun with him. His message is inspiring and he just strikes me as the salt of the earth and a gift to the world.

I actually had never heard of this guy until just now. I agree, though – he’s really amazing, and it’s lots of fun to watch him play. It’s freaking incredible that he can improvise stuff like that. :eek:

Unfortunately, I didn’t think his 1st CD was anywhere near as good as his YouTube videos. I listened once through then haven’t touched it in a year. Wasn’t a good purchase but at least my money went to a talented guy.
