How Can I Find out my old Yahoo Group ID?

I was active in several yahoo groups up until about 2007. My login name was “remembered” and I only had to enter my password when I went to groups.yahoo.com. I lost that remembered ID when I reinstalled windows.

I’ve forgotten my yahoo groups ID. :smack: At least, I’ve forgotten exactly how it was spelled (spaces, underscores etc.). I know it was something like AName_Here42 or maybe A_Name_Here42 or maybe AName_Here_42 the combinations boggle the mind.

My email gets constantly flooded with crap from Yahoo Groups. I get Yahoo Group Updates, Gardens & Nature-Plants & Flowers Digest is the worst because they send those things every few days.

I can’t find my group ID in any of this email. The sender is the group and you can’t reply back to that.

I’d love to sign into Yahoo Groups and kill these group subscriptions. But I need the blasted group ID I used. Or I may have to abandon this email account and leave it to rot in digital hell.

Help!!! Please?

Also, IIRC isn’t the yahoo groups ID different from your yahoo login account?

I never signed into yahoo or used their mail back then. I always signed into yahoo groups at groups.yahoo.com

Send an email to yahoogroupname-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com from the account receiving the emails.
