My wife’s Aunt has 2 worms that have shown up. Norton AV found them but says it cannot remove them. They are: gaobot.gen and blaster. How can we get rid of these worms? Is there any easy way? 
Norton should have removed them. However, if the computer uses XP or Me, the worms have been saved in the system restore folders (usually beginning with “_restore” as the folder name). They are harmless unless you restore the system.
If you want to get rid of them, turn off system restore, restart your computer, and then turn system restore back on again. If you do nothing, they will vanish in about three months.
