So cold that Niagara Falls froze.
(Just on the US side, of course. The Canadian Falls are tougher in cold weather. :p)

So cold the teenage boys are wearing their pants pulled all the way up.

Snopes says it’s fake pictures circulating of the falls.
So we had a high of 9 in my DC suburb on Tuesday, today the schools opened on a delay because of ice, and tomorrow the high is 63. What a crazy week.
It’s called winter in DC.
Historical Range
High 19 to 73 °F
Low 6 to 56 °F
High Temperature 73 °F
Min Temperature 57 °F
Years ago this happened to me, though not nearly as bad. The car was on the street during a thaw then overnight freeze. I freed the tires with a bold attack of windshield washer.

Fi-na-lly some winter here on the east bank of the pond. Snow the other day - it’s gonna be great fun with dry snow on top of all the ice - and -12C (10F) this morning.
Give me 15cm of wet snow, then below-freezing temps and some 5-10cm of dry snow, and I’ll dig out my skis and go skiing!
According to the link, the pics are apparently real, but not originating from the date assigned to them.
