I know pant emergencies happen, guys, but I am extra short and have to get pretty much any pants I buy shortened. What about buying the 30s and going to an alterations place? It’s a fairly minor hassle, after all.
I have to admit, my local dry cleaner does my alterations for me, and does them well. I didn’t even pin them up, I just took another pair of the same style/material and said “This length.” It would be nice to find some that fit without that sometime, though.
Try the Gap. My daughter (28" inseam) can find pants there. Of course, she’s pretty much limited to jeans or khakis, but at least she doesn’t have to wear shorts year-round.
I’ve found LL Bean inconsistant when it comes to their waist sizes. I can wear their 42" jeans with no problem but the first time I tried ordering online, I ended up with 42s that were too small. So I sent back the four pairs and the same day I called 'em to get larger sizes. Returning things purchased online is no problem, just a $5 shipping charge.
I am pretty sure my hubby has some 36/29 pants that don’t fit him any more since he has…gotten taller, yeah, that’s it.
Anyway, if anyone would like them, email me and I will check for you. I would be happy to give them a good home. He also has a pair or two of 38/29s that he doesn’t wear since they went all jeans all the time at work. Again, I would be happy to find them a good home.
We found them at Kohl’s. 29s aren’t common, but the store near us carries them in some brands.
