How could she let her dress like that?

Ha! You think a 13 year old dressing like a whore is bad? At least in that case, you can assume the kid probably had some say in it. Surely you have seen the 5 year old hookers running around, right? RIGHT?

I was at the mall the other day and say this lovely sight: Mom (late thirties but waaaay too much tanning, as she was freckly and wrinkly all over) wearing a mini denim skirt, with ruffles, Uggs, tank top three sizes two small.

Then her little girl…aye. An ADORABLE little blonde girl that is done up like a completely hooker. Mini skirt (her undies hung out when she would spin), belly shirt that said “Sexy!” (makes me think of “Cum Dumpster” from family guy), 3 inch PLATFORM HEELS!!!, hair teased, and BLUE BLUE EYESHADOW!

Aye.

Oh, and my mom had a great way of making me not want to dress like a whore. She’d take me shopping and say how cute all of the slutty clothes were and INSIST I buy them. As anyone who was ever a 14 year old female would know: no matter how cool it is in magazines, if mom likes it- Gross.

*Complete

And I forgot to mention: the little girl had her belly button pierced, just like mommy.

A few years ago, one of my students was notorious for dressing in the tiniest, tightest, sheer clothes imaginable. We were always sending her in for dress code violations and eventually a parent conference was held. Mom walked in the door wearing an outfit even more provocative than her daughter’s. This was how women were supposed to dress, anybody who didn’t was lazy, ashamed of themselves, or not feminine, she believed. Mama Tiger may have just caught that mom on a ‘casual friday.’

I was surprised to find out how many girls don’t think low cut jeans and skimpy tops are slutty looking. Many consider themselves to simply be following fashion trends. During class discussion one day it came up that showing your belly is sexual to many people. A handful of girls said ‘no way, it’s just our stomach, it doesn’t mean anything.’ So they asked the boys what they thought about girls wearing belly shirts and they all thought it was sexy but in a slutty way. The girls were stunned, even the ones who thought belly shirts were sexy didn’t consider them to be slutty looking (in certain cases) and none of them thought how they dressed would affect how they were treated by others. They did acknowledge that it happened to other people, just not themselves.

Then there’s the girls who know exactly what they’re doing.

So, how YOU doin’?

It horrifies me when I see girls younger than me (I’m 15, BTW) dressing up like the clothing factory that makes their clothes ran out of fabric or something. I mean, I’m a teenager and I feel like I’m the one of the few who actually dress properly, with my boobs and my nether-regions covered properly. I don’t wear makeup and the only times I wore them was when I was experimenting with it, but I decided it was too much of a hassle to care about. And the most I actually put on was some eyeshadow and eyeliner. Anyways, when I see girls dressed up like that (even the older ones), I want to go up to them and shake some sense into them: “Why are you dressing up like you’re only good for sex? You’re better than that! There are more important things than showing off what a great butt you have and your breasts!”

I wear skirts that are just-above-the-knees length, so if I have to bend down, you won’t see London, France and my underpants. And I like wearing tanktops and cute tops like that, but I wear a t-shirt underneath them and then I wear my tanktop over my t-shirt. I like mini-skirts, but I wear jeans underneath them. I wear fishnet, but I wear a tanktop underneath or over it. I mean, it just bothers me that some girls think they have to practically go naked just to get attention. Girls, listen to me! You don’t have to degrade yourself like this! In the future, nobody will care. You won’t even be allowed to dress like that as an adult in the professional world, anyways!

I don’t wear makeup, have degrees in physical sciences, work in the male-dominated field of IT, and dress similarly to my male engineer colleagues.

Do I get to call myself a tomboy?

She doesn’t like wearing skirts for the same reason I don’t!

Hmmm, I doubt if it would get that far, but you do have a point. Sounds like the approach could use some revision.

How 'bout something like, “How much money do you make off of her? Do you charge for her by the hour?” which would get the message across that it might not be a good idea to allow your daughter to dress like a whore, but without the possibility that your satirical commentary would be taken for actual solicitation.

Hell, yes.

Before the age of four my parents dressed me - but after that (when I would reach terminal-velocity-tantrum if I couldn’t wear trousers or shorts) I dressed myself and have since only worn dresses or skirts on a few occasions - mostly in plays, or at my school formals (where girls couldn’t go if they didn’t wear a dress or skirt, grrrrr).

I always revelled in being better dressed to run, jump and climb than most other girls around me and always felt I had more fun.

In contrast to what some of my female friends felt as we grew up - I actually found I had more attention from boys than those who tried to get noticed with (read: nearly without) clothes - often simply because I was able to join in their usually more boisterous activities and more easily became friends.

(It may have helped that I also have a geek-streak, which was a cause of mystery and wonder to many a male accomplice).

It was nice because I actually felt more respected by the few boys who had crushes on me than those who they ogled constantly but didn’t really know very well.

I’m 21 now, and still wear only trousers and shorts. My tops are never too tight, I don’t wear make up or perfume, and I’m happy.
(Do you think I used enough brackets?)

Heh. My husband came home from the grocery store the other day in shock. He saw a little girl (he estimated 13, but he always estimates too high) standing in line with her mom. The little girls t-shirt read “Future MILF.” Nice.

Well, I’ve always been fairly tomboyish. I find some of my girly tendencies are coming out more and more… like recently I bought a skirt. But it’s denim, falls to my knee and I can move around in it almost as well as my jeans.

So I’m somewhere in between, but closer to tomboy.

It always oogs me out when I see kids dressed up in tight clothes. Heck, it oogs me out when adults do it. It looks so much better when you leave a little to the imagination. The only legit reason to be wearing so little IMO is because you’re in your swimsuit, and even then there is such thing as a too small suit.

The OP is reason number 4,795 why I get down and thank OG for my daughter. Ever since she was 5 or so she has picked out her own clothes. Not because we gave her this authority, oh no she grabbed it and refused to wear anything that she did not pick out.

It turns out the kid has impeccable taste. We never had a problem with inappropriate clothes.

It costs a lot of money to look cheap.

Me too. My Mum used to run after me with a lipstick saying ‘why don’t you at least put on a bit of makeup’ as I went out to parties wearing faded jeans and baggy t-shirts.

I left the house yesterday in a short denim skirt and a vest top…it broke the boobs OR legs, not boobs AND legs rule, but it was hot so I went for it. After all, i thought, i’m 23, I’m not going to have the legs for this forever!

You know what, I couldn’t go through with it, I ended up buying a long gypsy skirt, and changing in the toilets of a restaurant. I just can’t handle being that exposed.

I honestly don’t know how those girls do it.

What’s MILF mean?

Mother I’d Like to Fuck.

Sounds better & friendlier if you pronounce it "Mom I’d like to … "

I wonder if Mom knew what MILF stood for.

Too bad for you. This is not the case in my house. Me and my wife place limits and they can wear whatever they want, within those limits.

C3 - she was a future Milf, eh?

Uh oh! Looks like someone is a [Britney fan!](http://www.celebritee.net/images/uploads/milf.jpg)

Did the girl have the pit stubble as well?
