How "Deplorabe" are you? Do you fit in hilliarry' basket?

Hey, be kind to the unhinged one. It’s obviously trying to rationalize supporting the biggest Republican con artist since Nixon, if not ever.

Awwww…poor poor Triggered Trumpling. So butthurt. So very sad.
I LOVE your sweaty desperation and impotent rage, though. Makes me laugh.

Credit where credit is due, however: doorhinge was deplorable long before it was cool.

It’s sad that tired ol’ Hillary’s poll numbers dropped after she chose to attack the voters/public with her deplorable comment. Then again, maybe it’s not so sad.

He is the kind of businessman that will stiff you.

And now he will stiff America if we let him.

The FBI did not, so I defer to them, and what Powell actually did tell.

Jeebus, could we ***please ***get back to the election?

You like polls, eh?

A national survey back in May (PDF) found that Trump supporters believe:[ul]Obama is Muslim (65%).
[li]Obama was not born in the US (59%)[/li][li]vaccines can lead to autism (27%; 12 points higher than non-supporters/unsure).[/ul][/li]
An earlier poll of South Carolina voters from the same outfit found that Trump supporters believe:[ul]those who identify as homosexual should be barred from entering the country (35%, nearly twice as many as any other).
[*]in White supremacy (16%, the only supporters even coming close had yet to decide who to support).[/ul]

Well, having 13 “experts” tell me my thought processes are so whack doodle that I should be on permanent disability and taking medication for it is pretty deplorable.

Hillery really missed her chance. After she made her remark, a shitload of Trumpettes took the stage to declare that they were proudly “deplorable”. Imagine what would have happened if she had used the word “babyfuckers”.

R Kelly suddenly gets interested in politics?

Gotta wonder how those true believer’s will react when their Fearless Champion waves the French Battle Flag (white, with chicken rampant) and flees. Brave, brave, brave Sir Donald!

My comment about Chamberlain was more around the idea that appeasing despots will make them your friends. However in both cases the aggressor was claiming places where they had ethnic majorities and which might have voted to go back.
NATO has helped prevent major global conflicts for 70 years, not a bad record, and has bound together nations that have been at each others throats for centuries. Perhaps in an ideal world we can do better. We don’t live in an ideal world. MAD is a terrible strategy, except less terrible than any other.
I invite you to visit the Occupation Museum in Talinn Estonia, to see what Eastern Europeans think of Russians. (Hint: slightly worse than Nazis.)

Nit pick: Estonia is not an Eastern European country. Northern European.
And the capitol is Tallinn. (Those Finns and Estonians can never have too many consonants in their words!)

They’ve been trying to align themselves with the Nordic countries, but it’s a stretch to call them Northern European. They’re between Russia and Latvia, that’s Eastern European by most people’s definition.

It’s more correct to say Estonia is between Latvia and Finland. Tallinn is just 50 miles across the Bay of Finland from Helsinki. It’s a few minutes of latitude more northern than Stockholm. It’s more northern than the northernmost point of Denmark. I’d say Estonia is Baltic, which by most people’s definition is Northern European.

The capitol of Estonia is Stenbock House.

The capital of Estonia is Tallinn.

I don’t believe I am any of those things. Maybe I am occasionally prejudiced and categorise people in stereotypes.

I am nice and safe and boring.

LOL. You do realize, right, that (at least as of six years ago- haven’t been able to find a more recent poll) most people in eastern Europe thought that their countries (as a whole, distinct from them as individuals) were better off under communism?

Also, most Estonians nowadays think their biggest existential threat is EU-mediated immigration, not Russian invasion:

Lithuania has potato. Estonia is jealous. Latvia sad. Lithuania has statue of Frank Zappa, so Lithuania cool and has potato.

Yeah, in 2010, in the middle of the meltdown, people weren’t too happy.
While there is a sane person in the White House I can believe that they are more worried about immigration than an invasion. The numbers might change if Trump gets in and starts making noises like we would abandon them.
It appears, even from guide books and reading I’ve done, that native Estonians dislike the Russians who got planted there, and for instance there is no mixing in churches.
They may also feel a bit different economically now, taking a look at the mess in Russia.
