Not really. Poll numbers really depend on the specific questions being asked. Sometime the questions are simple - Will you vote for Gary Johnson. Other times, the questions are more nuanced or complicated and may require knowing the answer to several questions before drawing a conclusion. Some pundits may 
cherry-pick answers to prove their particular biases.
Political campaigns may react more strongly to polls conducted by some pollsters, while they ignore the polls conducted by others.
During this, current, Presidential election, tired il’ Hillary chose to attack many of the future President’s (whomever that my be) constituents. In politics, that’s an incredibly dumb move. Attack the other candidate, attack the campaign promises, but never attack the people you may need to vote for you. They, and their families, and their friends may vote for someone else, or simply chose to stay home.
Maybe that’s a good thing for you. The people they’re bigoted against often don’t have the option of avoiding them. It’s not a good thing for them.
Even if Trump loses, it’s going to be a long time before we get over the aftereffects of the bigotry he stirred up and normalized.
I’m still shaking my head at the whole concept of this thread.
Clinton said that half of Trump’s supporters are basically racists and white supremacists, which make them deplorable. Here in this thread, we get a few right-wingers who seem to want to be included alongside David Duke and his ilk – “Hey, why aren’t you calling us out? We’re bad people too!”
As compared to Trump saying that most Mexicans are rapists and drug dealers, yet we do not see Hispanics leaping to message boards saying, “Hey, we’re bad people too! Count us in with the murders and arsonists!”
If anyone doubts that white privilege exists, it’s just look at what’s happening here.
