How do I add a poll?

I must be incredibly dense tonight, I can’t figure out how to add a poll to a new thread I wanted to create in IMHO.

I’m on my iPhone using Safari browser.

Follow up question: How do I add a poll when I can’t get information from the page engineer_comp_geek linked to because it says the page doesn’t exist when I click on the link?

Start a post or thread. In the text box for your post, click the gear icon on the top right, and choose the “Build a Poll” option. From there it’s pretty self explanatory.

Edit: also make sure the resulting markup is on its own line. It should look like this:

[poll type=regular results=always chartType=bar]
# example poll
* poll option
[/poll]

How Do You Build Polls?
  • I type the markup myself, like in BigT’s post
  • I click the settings button and select “Build Poll”
