how do I adjust the size of the font?

I’ve noticed that theres some way to adjust the font to a smaller size. Is there a way for bigger?

Also, Whats the code for hyperlinking (without typing the WHOLE URL)?

Thanks.

There’s no way to make the font size larger. A smaller fon can be displayed in three different ways. One, use the “Post Subject” box, which only works on replies, not new topics. See text above saying, Post Subject. Second and third are related, [sub]subscript[/sub] and [sup]superscript[/sup]. To show these, merely turn the tags “sub” and “sup” on/off just like italics or bold.

For entering URL’s there are several methods, see this page. Please note this help page is also availble from the “Reply to Topic” window. It’s at the link titled “vB code” just above the topic title and will open in a new browser window.

Um.

Actually, if Inky is using IE5, there is a way to change the font size. Up at the top under View, you can click on Text Size and choose a size.

…which changes all the text on the whole screen, of course. Is that what he’s talking about? Or is he talking about the opposite of tiny print? Unc is right, you can’t get the opposite of tiny print.

Now I’m confused.

boogers

just testing folks, theres no “Boogers.com” (as far as I know anyway…).

Uh, Inky-, actually through your link I was able to “meet the cast of Booger”!

Yes, even “Mr. Piddle”.

Also, you can combine the [sup]superscript[/sup] and [sub]subscript[/sub] to produce [sup][sub]small letters in ordinary position[/sub][/sup].

(Hit the “quote” button if you want to see how I did that. I’m too lazy to expand out the full code here.)

[sub]test[/sub]

[sub]test[/sub]

Uh, Chronos, that looks exactly like subscript to me. Since I’m using IE, I guess you must be using Netscape.

Yep, Waterj2, when you combine [**sub] & [**sup] in Netscape you get a tiny version on the same baseline as a normal line. It doesn’t work that way with IE, though.
