That is, how do I get a job delivering Winnebagos from the factory to the dealers? Does anyone have any URL’s or information relevant to this?

I do not know, but I think that it would be one of the most satisfying jobs in the world.
This reminds me… Once I called Goodyear to find out how to become a blimp pilot. They said you need a commercial certificate and a multi-engine rating. Easy enough. Then they told me that the pilot who has been there the least amount of time had had the job for 20 years. That sounds like job satisfaction!

Are you a turtle?
No, job satisfaction means delivering luxury yachts to owners. A lot of rich folks keep their yachts in the tropics in the winter, and have them ferried up to Maine or wherever in the summer. A friend of mine did this for years - he got paid to fly to Bermuda in the spring and sail a $500,000 yacht back up to the mainland. Then the same guy would hire him in fall to sail it back down to Bermuda.
Being a commercial pilot sounds great, but the pay generally sucks. I know guys who have been flying for 20 years and are still making $35,000 or less. For the first 5-10 years of your career you’ll be flying small twins and loading cargo yourself, and getting $18,000 - $25,000 a year for your trouble. (This after spending maybe $20,000-$30,000 to get all the licenses and ratings required). After the glamour of flying wears off, it gets to be a hassle. A lot of them give up and quit. The money only gets good if you can make captain in a jumbo, and the guys doing that can make $150,000 a year or more.
