** I got a full time job today! I will be delivering/driving for a bottled water/vending company. It’s the job I have been wanting for a long time. I am so happy! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I start Wednesday morning!YES!**<<<Huey Lewis music playing in background>>> :::working for a livin’, livin and a workin’:::" :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Congrats MSK! Don’t run over any pets!
Cool! I wish I could drive a truck all day! It would probably have the intellectual stimulation of my school…(interpret as you will)
But hey, at least you can meet interseting people, right?
Awright! You GO, MSK!
A job where you deliver drinks and get all you can handle?
This is my dream job!
(Except for one tiny detail. But maybe it will get you experience to take to a brewery.)
Way to go.
Congrats.
Are you gonna have to lift those 5 gallon jugs around?
Is this going to cut down on the message board time that you were trying to cut down on???
Congratulations! I know you’ll be a far better water man than the one we have. If we had to rely on him, I’d be a shriveled prune of a woman…
Congragulations MSK!! All the bottled water you can drink? Lucky! Our water taste like ca-ca.
Today was my first day on the job, I LOVED it. Yes, I will be delivering the 5 gal jugs of water, and that’s all. I was incorrect about the vending aspect. There is no vending.
I don’t think I can ask for a better job…

[li]get to drive a truck all day, by myself (after my training is over)no one riding my back[/li][li]get to be outdoors all day as opposed to factory/office etc[/li][li]never get bored, always moving, always interesting, day goes by FAST[/li][li]meet a lot of people[/li][li]great workout, bottles weigh 46lbs each… I need the excercise…deliver circa 200-300 bottles a day[/li][li]day job,7:30 am - 3:30 pm, weekdays only, no holidays or weekends[/li][li]great pay (most I’ve ever earned anyways), full benefits[/li][/ul]
I can’t find ONE single thing about the job I don’t like. The only problem I may have, if any, is the inordinate number of idiotic other drivers on the road. I saw some really stupid $#!+ today. (example: people who turn on their turn signals about 95% of the way into their turn, trying to overcome a massive water truck with their puny little car, etc)
I’d hate to have to be at work at 730 in the morning, but getting off work by 330 in the afternoon would be totally cool!
I guess we’ll have a pretty good idea about when to expect you to be on the message board, and when not to expect you, huh?
