Wait…first full day of work ever? No McJobs or anything?
Wowzers.
But hey, congrats are in order. Welcome the real world! Enjoy the five minutes between “Woohoo! I’m a productive member of society, and I’m raking in the bucks” and “Man, work sucks”.
Yay!
Now you can afford to keep me in the lifestyle to which I’ve grown accustomed.
You can just have them paycheques direct deposited into the Bank of harmless.
Man, work sucks. The whole excitement about working faded when I had to get up at 6am to wake up to drive to work. I was doing quite well on my first day, I have to send through picking and loading orders to the warehouse at certain times of the day for the lorries to pick up. And this morning was just the same and I was going really well. And then they decided to have another temp, who is still being trained to teach me what to do. She’s a nice enough girl but shes very quiet and has a Russian accent and I haven’t got the heart to tell her I can’t understand what she’s saying. But I don’t think it matters though. Everything she “taught” me today I have been told to do differently by the permanent workers, so there.
That’s about it. I’m still excited about the money though. Yay money!
