How Do I Buy Statues of Lenin/Marx/Stalin For Cheap?

Since the collapse of the old USSR, a lot of cities and towns in Russia/Eastern Europe, have been ditching the statues of the patron saints of communism (Marx, Lenin, Stalin)-where did they all go? Is there anywhere you can buy these things? A Russian friend told me that every school in Russia used to have a statue or bust of Lenin-there ought to be tons of this stuff around.
Is there any site that sells this stuff for cheap?
I’d like a nice statue of Stalin for my garden.

I believe quite a lot of them were broken up for scrap, before this drove the price of the remaining examples up in value.

Not sure where you could get one though…

There used to be a place called Sovietski Collection but apparently it’s gone out of business.

I think you missed the “going out of business” sale by about twenty years.

You could put a matching Hitler out there as well…

Add Idi Amin and Pol Pot, and you could have a complete set.

Marx would be quite out of place in such a set, never having been a dictator.

I was going to say that, too, but realized I hadn’t gotten a catalog from them in a loooong time.

The opening credits from the Bond movie GoldenEye had some good images of Communist-era statues and icons being torn down: GoldenEye - Wikipedia

If you go any any Russian / ex Soviet street market, there will be plenty of small busts for sale.

There’s a Stalinworld theme park, they’ll have a few. A lot of Queen Victorias are littering zoos, back streets and other out of the way places in India, not scrapped but moved to give way for more Indian statues.

In Seattle there’s a 15 foot tall bronze statue of Lenin that was bought just after the end of the Soviet Union. But I imagine that all the surplus statues of this type have been scrapped or sold. Don’t forget that a large bronze statue has considerable value just as scrap.

Does it have an entrance but no exit?

Don’t know about statues, but there are quite a few of Lenin, Stalin and Marx busts on sale on Ebay.
