How do I find a song that was popular in Germany this summer?

I dont know the artist or any of the words, despite the fact I heard it everywhere in Northern Germany in August. I want it for my Mp3.

Does anyone know of links for popular/euro beat songs that can help me out? I don’t want to have to watch my home video to get the basics of the song before my husband calls his cousins over there to hear, " They don’t know, either."

SmackFu’s list is good. I suggest trying both versions of Dragosta Din Tei (#1 and #9 on the list). You probably mean this song because it was number one dance song of the year accross the whole Europe.

How can the same song be listed twice in the yearly charts?
