I don’t know what the song is, but I believe it’s popular in France. I could quite easily be wrong. I am afterall very good at being wrong.
The song is Dragostea Din Tei, by a Romanian pop group called O-Zone.
I’d rather listen to a room full of students scratching a chalk board then to watch that video ever again.
Oh, I think it’s kinda catchy, and I’m not into singing fat guys.
I wish it didn’t have those flashing pictures meshed in with it…

My lab has gotten completely addicted to this guy. The song gets stuck in your head so easily that all it takes is a mention of the Numa Numa song (that’s what he calls it). After watching the subtitled version, we even know some of the words. :eek:

SP2263 - A little digging on Google discovered he is alive and well, but lost 5 teeth and went through a couple reconstructive surgeries over a couple of months. The brown car the kid smacked his face on was actually parked, so it wasn’t QUITE as bad as it looked. I’ve already lost the link, but I found an interview with the guy who filmed it.

BTW: Dragostea Din Tei is my favorite song of all time. Anyone who hears me playing it in my car and sees me spasmotically dancing and convulsing thinks I am insane.
C3 - From what I gather, they were trying to smack kids on bikes as they drove by, but he had to hang out the door a little to reach him as he swerved. He lost his balance.

For some reason, I like this fat guy video. The first time I saw it I almost pissed myself. I can definitely see how a song like that would become all the rage in Europe.
The guy who made this video apparently hates the fact that he’s famous for it now. The nytimes.com recently had an article on it, and he’s gone into hiding at his parent’s house and now won’t take any more calls or interviews on the subject. His friends and family members say they don’t know what’s wrong with him, and that he should be grabbing his 15 minutes while it lasts. All I know is that the some of the popstars today could learn a lot about lip synching and dancing from him.
