How do I get a clear picture on my iPhone widget area?

I don’t use widgets. I deleted them all from the widget Home Screen and I had a clear picture of the Cub as my background.

Then my phone upgraded to 14 and even though I don’t have any widgets on the Home Screen, the picture is all blurry.

How do I get a clear picture there again?

Have you tried selecting the photo and “re-setting” it as your home screen / lock screen image? Maybe select a different photo for those images first, and then change it back to the desired photo?

Do you mean the Today View that you get when you swipe right, or the Home Screen? I don’t see what you using widgets or not has to do with the Home Screen. The background on the Today View screen is blurry, the Home Screen is clear.
