How do I get rid of the thing in the Lower Right hand corner?

I am not sure what to call it. It contains a drop down menu to jump to other forums. It stays there as I scroll down a page and it is extremely distracting.

Is there a way to turn it off?

I want to get rid of it, too.

Huh. That’s actually one of the changes I like and find immensely helpful.

Does it? I see an up arrow that takes me back to the top of the page. No change forum menu for me.

Edit - I was viewing the forum at 90% size. When I switched to 100% I saw the drop down

In my tablet and mobile, it’s just below the arrow and to the left.

Huh? My Forum Jump menu is at the very bottom right and doesn’t scroll with the page at all.

I’m using Firefox.

Whatever this is, I’m not getting it, using Chrome.

Stays right at the bottom where it’s always been for me. Doesn’t scroll along. I’m on a Windows 10 PC using Firefox.

See my post here to identify the Arrow.

I think it’s related to your view port size. If I scroll in to 200%, I get it. If I go out of full screen mode and shrink my window size, I get it. I didn’t look too deep, but I’m guessing it’s a CSS @media, but the position of the box goes to FIXED at a certain size.

Yes, if I “cntl +” four times to increase the screen size it floats. At my normal screen size it stays put.

If it’s any consolation, you can get rid of the arrow by scrolling to the top.

Odd. Inspired by the above, I just tried the same, with no such effect. BUT I tried “Cntl 0” (which reverts of “normal” size after you’ve messed with Cntl + and Cntl -) and that made the text much smaller than everyone is complaining about (a bit smaller than I like actually) AND put the forum jump menu back at the bottom of the page (not the bottom of the screen), where it belongs.

I just zoomed out and then use text zoom. But you could also use your adblocker. That’s what I did on mobile.

I think this design over emphasizes how important that thing is.

Man, I wish there was an easy way to do that…

I am testing the new format on my Samsung Note 3. It looks okay on my screen. There is one improvement - the post generating window (edit window) now works properly. The default display size is small, but the window now scrolls with the text, so you can read what you are typing. In the previous version, the edit window centered on the screen. If you enlarged the zoom to see, the window stayed centered, so the text you were entering would roll of the visible portion of the display. That is the boat reason I started using Tapatalk.

However, the arrow and forum select box at the bottom of the screen are annoying. I also had a “quick menu” feature that I turned off, but that didn’t remove the other two items.

But it comes back as soon as you scroll down again.

Ok,I have the items: a forum select box, a gray up arrow in a circle on the right, and another up arrow in the center of the screen when I scroll the page. Zooming the screen to enlarge the text removes the forum box and didn’t arrow, sort of. They come back when scrolling down.

Changes?
