How do i get to be a Moderator?

Impressive? Hey, we’re just normal posters, Upham. We happen to have a few more guns at our disposal, and we take the wellbeing of the Straight Dope Message Board very seriously.

Email TubaDiva (tubadiva@aol.com) for an application. You’d have a better chance a few months down the road when you’ve been posting for a bit longer. You’ll also need to know which threads go in which forum. This one, for example, would belong in ATMB. :slight_smile:

Well, you’ve got the right attitude to be a moderator, at least.

Actually, I always sort of figured that anyone who didn’t search for previous posts on the question wouldn’t be a good mod candidate anyway…that’s a hint, Upham. This subject has been covered before, and I, for one, don’t feel like digging it up again.
