I would like to start a thread and I’d prefer to check first if I’m allowed. It’s quite likely that I can but I’d rather check first out of courtesy. How do I know who moderates each sub-forum to explain it to them and seek their permission?
Look at the bottom of the forum page on the right. It lists all of the moderators who moderate that particular forum. If you click on their name, it also lets you contact them.
Yep, at the bottom of each forum it lists who the moderators are for that forum.
Also, if you go to the main SDMB page, down at the bottom is a link for “View Forum Leaders” which will get you a list of all moderators and their forum assignments.
