How do I make Google Maps display multiple points?

I go to yard sales on the weekends, and when I’m plotting out my itinerary, it would be really helpful to be able to mark multiple points on a map so I don’t wind up backtracking or going unnecessarily out of my way, or whatever. I can, of course, do this on a regular map with sticky notes, but that is cumbersome and annoying. However, I can’t find any way to do it in Google Maps. I’m sure I’ve seen maps online where people have done this, but I can’t figure out how to do it myself. Anyone know?

Are you referring to a map that will show you how to get from point A to point B? The AAA site is a good one for that.

No, I’m referring to a map that will show me points A, B, C, D, E, F, G, etc., all marked on the map at the same time.

Try Yahoo! Maps. I’ve not figured out how to make Google do it, but Yahoo! does it by default. Every time you type in an address, it adds another input box at the bottom of the list so you can keep typing them. It’s really handy for me, as my job takes me to multiple sites during the week, sometimes in the same day, and this gives me an easy way to plot the route from site to site.

Some of the others do that. I forget which ones now, because I stopped needing that kind of map.
But look around at other map sites like Mapquest and Maps On Us
