I picked this up a while back on STEAM, but I have no idea what I’m doing. The total lack of any instructions does not help. I’m pretty sure I don’t know what all the controls do. Basically, what are the controls and how in the world do I playn the game, and once I start playing, where do I go?
I have the manual on PDF if you want it?
Is it sufficiently complicated that this is neccessary?

Btw, which Jagged Alliance do you have? It just struck me that there are a few.
But basically it’s a turn-based game with action points, just like Fallout 1-2 and the UFO games. Not at all very different from them. And if you right-click the portrait of the merc you get a bigger picture, where all the possibilities are set up with shortcuts.
OK, it appears I have Jagged Alliance 2. I think I get the basics of walking around, picking things up, managing inventory, and killing people.
However, I start the game and I have no idea what to do. I can kill the enemies on the first screen… then what? I go to the next map to the right, and there’s nobody there expect Dmitri, who refuses to do anything or respond. Where’s Miguel?
I checked Gamefaqs and it isn’t very useful on this one.
Talk to all of the civillians in the first map: a woman will lead you to the rebels AFTER you give her the letter from the cat who hired you (Rico? Enrico?)
There’s a woman on the first map? Where?
There’s a kid that’s running around, you follow the kid to the woman. She (the woman) is in one of the buildings in the middle of the map.
