Today, I hate Microsoft, Skype, and anyone who looks like them. I keep trying to get my Skype thingy to work and I’m unsuccessful. I don’t get the right start screen, I can’t get the basic interface for using it. So, I figured I’d delete the program and download it again. Start over. Not so fast, buddy buddy. I deleted a few parts of it, but Skype itself isn’t listed as a program in the control panel, so I can’t just delete it. I go to their website and they tell me I already have the app. So I can’t just download it and replace what I have. So I’m stuck. Anyone have any ideas of what I might try? Thanks.

When you say App, you mean to say, that you use Windows 8?
Yes, I do, and they seem to have two different versions of Skype - one that I downloaded for Win8, and another one I found further along in the website for desktop computers that use Win8. That one seems to function now, but I’m sure I’ll be back with more questions. Jeez, this was supposed to be so easy. Now I can’t get my video working. argh.
