How do I reconnect a printer without the installation CD?

I recently had to have my computer pretty much wiped clean due to viruses. I saved my documents and photos and all onto DVD but I’ve had to reinstall every ruddy program (MS Office, Adobe, etc.). Unfortunately I cannot find the CD that came with my printer (an HP 2110).

Does anybody know anyway of connecting this printer to the computer (also HP) without the software?

PS- I forgot to mention that this line of printer has been discontinued.

Assuming this is the HP All-in-One 2110, you’ll need the drivers.

Fortunately, you can download them, or, if you’re on a modem, request a CD from HP.

Choose your operating system here, then choose the appropriate download…

Do a search online for the drivers…when I had to reconnect the very ancient and creaky HP at work, this is what I did and found the drivers without too much problem. What company is it? Start with their website, then hit Microsoft, then roam around the Web if you still can’t find it.

Sorry, forgot to mention that assuming that is your correct printer/scanner, when you select your OS, you’ll need to download the “Full Software Solution Driver”, which is listed first for the Microsoft OSes, or the “HP PSC 2100 Series Printer Web Installer” for your specific version of Mac OS.

The order form for the CD is below those links.
