If I do a search on a user, all that comes up are posts 1-500. Is there a way to see them ALL?
Bonus question: When you want to do the “show single post” coding, how do you know what number to use for the post?
Thanks for the help.

Not from the “View all posts by this user” link. The search returns a max of 500 results. You can use the main search function and sort by time periods to get a different set of results, though.
You can hover the pointer over the “reply” button and read the post ID in the status bar at the bottom left of the screen.
I think a better way to link to a single post is to right-click on the little “#24” or whatever at the upper right of a post, and save it to the clipboard as a link.
None, that I’ve been able to find. You can select time periods and fora to search and a few other options, which will narrow down which 500 posts get displayed, to a point, but you’re pretty much stuck with the 500 post limit for a given search.
This one’s easier. You can click the post number–it’s in the upper right corner next to the [!] Report Post button–and it will open a new window with that post, and the URL in the address bar can then be copied and pasted into your post.
Thanks!
And even if you could get more than 500 results, you’d still be missing posts. I needed to find a post of mine from Comments on Cecil’s Columns but it can’t be found with a Search, not even if I tell it to find all my posts in that forum.
