How do I vote?

Now, I’ve done no outside research on this point, so I want to know the God-honest truth from you people. How do I vote?

Okay, a little background. I’m an Alaskan resident currently living out of state so I can go to school. I haven’t switched my residency over to Arizona, where I currently live. (Among other reasons, this is due to the PFD.) And I am aware that if I registered to vote in this state I would lose my Alaska residency, so I haven’t.

So how do I go about voting for the national elections? I know I don’t vote for all the local races or politics (at least I assume so). But I know I can vote for the national elections. What do I do to go about doing this?

By the way, I lost my voter registration card sometime during one of my many aparment moves. Do I send in for an absentee ballot or what?

Somebody let me know what I have to do. Thank you and God bless America.

That gives you plenty of information about voting in the state of Alaska.

What you are going to have to do, since you won’t be in teh state to vote in person, is to mail in an absentee ballot. In order to get the absentee ballot, you have to fill out an application, they will check to make sure you are registered, and when everything is checked, they send you the ballot. Hurry up and send in the Application, according to the link I gave, you only have until October 31st to sign up.
The application, as well as all of the information I gave, can be found at the link above.

Good luck!
