Yes, that’s true. I read it in a magazine.

If you were hit in the lower abdomen by a single round only, your death might be quite slow and agonizing indeed.
Depends if it were the dinky .57 mentioned in the article, or a German 88.
Hermann Goering had good taste in art and probably would have been a lot of fun to go beer drinking with. And Hitler was a terrific dancer!
In totalitarian countries, competent generals like Rommel or Zhukov tend to rise to the top during wartime - by being so good that the political echelon realizes it *needs *them in order to win. North Korea hasn’t fought a war in over 60 years.
Not to mention he was a great painter too. He could do a whole apartment in one afternoon. TWO COATS!
Um, from what I read, the NKs used quad 14mm machine guns on the guy. Just a little bigger than our .50 cal Brownings (which in metric shoot 12.7mm). The US had quad .50s mounted on the back of half tracks for anti-aircraft use during WWII, Korea, and maybe Vietnam too. Pretty effective against low and slow aircraft. Maybe a F-16 busting mach flying low might zoom by before an AA crew could point it and aim it, but I would NOT want to be riding in a chopper landing in an LZ that was covered by one of those.
Yeah, I’m too mean to shell out the full price.
Fair point, though I believe the official NK line is that they’re still at war.

AAW, this is a casing point of how puns derail a thread, time to Buk the trend before someone causes us HARM.
I’m enjoying these puns so much I forgot what the thread was about! Am really enjoying people shoot from the hip.
“Your Highness! The peasants are revolting!”
“Yeah, they stink on ice!”
Oh, you mustn’t do that with an anti-aircraft gun!
