Though practically all are Christians, and a few Jews . . . I don’t think it’s such a big deal to other faiths. It’s one thing I’ve never heard of Muslims getting mad about, anyway.

Agreed, but in case people get the impression that Christians have the monopoly on such things it should be pointed out that old-earth creationism is a common position among Muslims.
I did a Master’s where I was working with a number of Arabic Muslim doctors and surgeons. Several held the position that while animals evolved, humans were created.

Fools. The USSR’s reaction is the whole point. It PROVES the landings were hoaxed and the USSR was in on it from the start, obviously. How blind can people be???

I’ve used this line of reasoning before with people. I just wasn’t ready for the person who said the USSR was in on it too. :dubious:
And then they show us old tanks and spaceships and things purportedly left over from this “USSR,” but they’re all clearly labeled “CCCP,” WTF is that all about?!
I’ve heard people say that, since both manned space programs were fake, the Soviets calling us out would cause their own fake program to be exposed, therefore they kept their mouths shut.
I know that makes zero sense and has more holes than swiss cheese, but I have seen people say it.
It gets worse! Space-fakery has now crept into the private sector! :eek:
I think some of them think the entire reason we faked it was to fool the Russians.
