I feel just fine about a President Kamala Harris. I think she’ll be a fine president.
I think it’s weird to state unequivocally that that President Biden will not finish his whole second term. I mean, sure it could happen. It could realistically happen to any president. It may be a bit more possible for Biden, but no one can know for certain.
Which I did not do. I said I think there is a good chance. That is not unequivocal which would be if I said guarantied 100% to happen.
I just hope Biden makes it through his term, but should something happen I hope he makes it at least 2 years. That way President Harris will be able to run for re-election twice.
It would be mildly hilarious if she ran with Hunter Biden. I know, totally unrealistic, but the expressions on the faces of the GOP would be funny.
She would be fine.
If she chose Hunter, I dare say theres no more dirt they can dig up on him.
I rather doubt that Hunter is competent for the job, though.
I don’t think I was referring to you. I couldn’t remember who said he definitely not survive the whole term, so I didn’t name names. I suppose I could’ve looked back to find out, but I just left it open.
But there isnt, and most of us have said there is not.
Bit of a random thought -
But I would have to wonder if having a President Harris for almost 2 years would lessen some of the resistance to a female president.
I know that here, (Parliamentary Democracy) we had a female Prime Minister that came to power via deposing the existing party leader, and then we had an elected female Prime Minister immediately afterwards.
You’d also have to consider that traditionally, one party only holds the presidency for two term? So for a President Harris to continue would be unlikely anyway?
