How do you get rid of browser attachments?

I found a site that will show what’s in my IE6 browser. (showmyip.com)
Some of the things there I know about, like the messanger, but some
just seem to have glommed on by themselves.
I don’t know what these are:
SV1; DigExt; www.k2pdf.com;
Maybe the first one is a Microsoft service pack?
I can’t find any sources for DigExt
But I know for sure that www.k2pdf.com was a pdf file converter I tried once and never bought. I located the trial version in my Add/Remove Software list and removed it. But it’s still showing in the browser info. I also tried the Tool menu’s Manage Add-ons but can’t find it. Where is it and how do you get rid of it?

I think maybe you need to ask a moderator to change your title, so that you will attract attention from people who can help.

I’d suggest something like: Need help getting rid of IE6 pdf reader attachment

Good luck; I don’t know a thing about IE, except that I hate it, and use it only when I’ve no other choice. I’ve used Netscape from the time it first existed.

Go to “Tools”; “Internet Options”; “Settings”;“View Objects…”; and delete anything you don’t want. This is where IE saves all the crap it automatically downloads. Don’t worry about getting rid of anything here – if it’s important, IE will get a new copy when it needs to.
