I like them green, sliced and with caramel. How do you like THEM apples?
I like them in pie.
Applepie, mmhhhh!
Or, glazed apples straight from the oven with vanilla icecream, double-mmhhh!
I might be an oddity, but I don’t like apples at all unless they’re cooked. Baked apples, apple pie, apple fritters, apple crisp = all yum. Raw apples = blech.
Whole, or in a pie.
Peeled, sliced and sprinkled with a little cinnamon and sugar.
Whole, macintosh please.
Homemade apple butter would be lovely right now. Mmmmm.
PIE!!! Mmmm
Actually, I don’t like to eat uncooked apples at all, something about the combination of the peel and the texture/hardness is disagreeable to me. And since to have pie any time I’m in the mood for apples is a little excessive, I tend to cook them alone frequently. Peeled and sliced, a little water with some white sugar and cinnamon, covered on the stove for twenty or so minutes. Yummy…
Appleslices.
How do you get the peanut butter to stick?
Also try sunflower seed butter. AB FAB.
We had a discussion about a wonderful little gadget (in Cafe Society, I think) which I like to call The Apple Whumper. It’s round, with handles on each side. With it, you core and slice a whole apple with just one WHUMP. It’s incredible. I whump apples daily for my brood, myself and my beloved.
Here’s a picture of one. Mine’s an OXO.
