What’s to be confused about? Same-sex experimentation during adolescence is completely normal, along with sexual confusion. It’s also possible he’s more or less bisexual, but is predominantly straight, so he dates women (or he’s convinced himself “not to be gay” anymore). No matter how thin you slice, coming to broad conclusions about an entire community based on one person is irresponsible. Should I go ahead and base all of my beliefs on Christians because I know about Fred Phelps? Please.
You’re right, it is another thread, and it’s linked in my .sig - click if you’re interested.
I have to admit I’m quite surprised at how offended people are at the guy’s “messed up” reference. I find it hard to believe that’s the worst insult you all have heard against homosexuals.
If that makes you shake with rage, I’d recommend cancelling your internet connection. http://www.godhatesfags.com alone will make your head explode.
It’s not. It’s his whole attitude toward everything he believe is wrong. Some of it (attitude toward child molestors and such) I can understand. But he’s so vehemently set against everything that isn’t completely straight . . . I’d refer you to other posts of his but I don’t feel like hurting anything tonight.
sarteve . . . I’m not going to dignify that with a comment any more than I have with this. There are plenty of Americans who aren’t assholes.
Falcon-that sucks. You ever hear of the Father Benz case in Pittsburgh, where the priest stole millions from two parishes? Well, guess what-one of those churches was MINE!
(The guy was dying and he died before they could bring him to trial.) His secretary is still claiming it was a set up and that it was a staff member who had cancer who did it. (who also passed away). My dad heard her, Mary Ann Albaugh say that and was PISSED.
My father does a lot for the church, and he knew the woman they were accusing. It pissed him off to know end.
