and that’s the nearly complete list of all the interstate highways in my state.
A quarter mile straight line to I-84, half a mile on the road. I’m also under a mile’s drive from two more I-highways. Commute time has been a main factor in picking my last three apartments, and if it takes 10 minutes to get to and from the highway, that adds up pretty quickly.
Same general locale, but closer to I-5 (little over a mile as the guttersnipe flies). Considerably farther to drive since they’re still working on the Sprague/WA-16/I-5 interchange — a project that will probably wrap up somewhat after the Trumpet and the Shout.
I-25 is just under 8 miles due east of me, but the Rio Grande is in the way so I have to go north or south to get to a road that crosses the river. If traffic is light I can make it in 20 minutes. I-40 is 11 miles south.
According to Google Maps, 12337 km (7666 miles) from the southern end of I-95 in Miami. Curiously, the distance from here to the northern end of I-95 in Maine is only 65km more than that.
Taking the local equivalent - a national highway with freeway status - I live about 1.5 km from the nearest.
