Of my moms 6 kids, my sister is closest at 5 miles, I’m next at 14. I have three brothers scattered around SF BAY they’re roughly 70-95 away. Then there is the never do well who’s currently incarcerated in Dublin or Sacramento or French Camp, so I’m going to say the average is just shy of 50 miles.
On my wife’s side (also six kids) her older sister lives about 5 miles from us. Her Mom and other sibs all live on the same block in Oakland. So about 70.
Around 25 for me to my parents. My sister lives about 300 miles away - my baby sister just moved in with her (how permanently remains to be seen).
As an adult, I’ve lived anywhere from 500 to 145 miles from my parents (each move got me closer, actually). My brothers lived anywhere from 30 feet (in the basement for a couple of years) to 3000 miles; the 30-footer never moved more than 20 miles away from home. The sib furthest from me at present is about a thousand miles.
From the in-laws - we were as much as 700 miles from the MIL/FIL when they lived in Illinois, and as close as 240 miles when they were in NJ. They’ve moved to Florida now so about an even thousand.
My mother and stepfather are 1,700 miles away. My two brothers live 1,500 miles away but they recently moved very close together to each other. The average is about 1,550 miles apart from me.
I’m about 750 miles from my parents right now. Went away for college (25 miles) and my first job was about 300 miles away.
One brother lives in the same rural town as my folks so they’re like 5 miles from Mom and Dad.
The other brother lives in the next town over where my parents have their business and that’s 15 miles away.

Since little sis is conveniently placed halfway en route to both mom and dad, it’s not uncommon for her to get a lift when The Boy and I head out to visit parental units, or vice-versa. It’s a nice way to break up the trip and have a bite for lunch.

I live 830 miles from my parents. My brother lives 187 miles from them.
Neither Mapquest nor Google Maps could tell me the distance, but I’m about 2500 miles from my parents. My SO is about the same, 2400 miles, from his folks, but in the opposite direction.
My mom lives north of Baltimore. The closest sister lives about 6 miles away, the farthest one in the Baltimore area (south of the city) is about 40 miles away. My brother and the third sister live between those two. I’m just over 103 miles away from Mom.
My daughter and son in law just moved in with us, so she’s about 15 feet away at the moment.
My husband’s parents and one brother are about 800 miles away. The other brother is another 70 or so miles farther down the road.
I can’t really answer this by country as I’m in a different country from my parents. However, my parents are about 2600 miles from me, my step brother and step sister are about 225 miles from them, another step brother is around 500 miles, and my sister is about 1200 miles from them. The average for all of us (even me out of country) is 950.
My husband and I are about 8 miles from his parents, as is his sister.
I live .4 miles from my folks, driving.
My brother up and got married, and moved a whopping 7.8 miles away from “home”…except now he’s 1.6 miles from his wife’s parents 
I would suppose we’re an eerily close family.
I’m not finding any simple tool on the web to tell me the distances, but my parents live about two thousand miles from each other, my brother lives on a different continent, I live on the opposite side of the continent from my father, and my sister lives at least a thousand miles from dad and at least two thousand from mom.
Here’s a mileage calculation tool which seems to work.
I live 394 miles from my father. At the moment, both kids are home, but one is in school 2400 miles away, and the other now lives 553 miles away, but is soon moving to grad school 2526 miles away. Which is 18 miles from where she was born.
I’m about 2 miles from my parents, and maybe a mile from one of my brothers. The other two siblings live within about 10 or 15 miles.
Yes, my mother is the happiest mother in existence, given that most of her friend’s kids live a gazillion miles away.

I’m surprised at how far away most people in this thread are from their family. I really enjoy being close.
My sister is in California, 2,871 miles from our parents. I’m in Santa Fe, NM, 1,926 miles from our parents. Average: 2,398.5 miles.
My sister is in the military, so she goes wherever they tell her to. I personally picked my college on the basis of “That school is Very Far Away from suburban New Jersey, which is a Good Thing.”
For what it’s worth, the only times I have remotely regretted the decision to move so far away have been times when I find myself staring at an airport departure screen announcing a delay.

From Sib 2 to parents: 1821 miles
In other words, parents live in Texas. All three of us fled to opposite coasts as soon as we could. 
I think parents would win though, since g’parents live in either Indonesia or Australia.
After a little mapquest action I have learned that one of my sisters and one brother lives 2908 miles from the rents, one of my sisters lives 2936 miles from the folks, one of my brothers lives 870 miles from my parents and the last brother lives 3.5 miles from my folks. I live a nice 366 miles from home.
