Female, 31, Ohio. I put on deodorant every day before I get dressed, which is not until after work, as I work from home in my jammies. I shower at night, every other day.
My dad is like some of the folks mentioned in this thread - he doesn’t wear deodorant and he does not smell. I don’t think he showers every day. I never knew what Sweaty Man BO smelled like until I did a construction project with some older dudes. Ack!
Male, 26, currently in northern Japan. I shower every weekday and almost every weekend-day. I use deodorant almost every day as well. I sweat easily and it’s not always lilacs and daisies.
Male 42. Shower every morning before work; apply antiperspirant/deodorant afterwards. After working out in the afternoon, another shower and application of the no stinkum. Saturdays are a bit more lax. Currently living in Northern VA, but same pattern no matter where I’ve lived.
My wife is Korean and this is true for her. I would add that her shit don’t stink but honestly I don’t think she ever takes a shit. In 10+ years together I’ve never seen nor smelled any evidence of that. Oh, she can fart up a storm, but that’s about it.

Male, 51. Tom’s deodorant, no antiperspirant, after every shower, which means every morning.
I used to have “deodorant failure” until I tried Mitchum gel. Blow dry pits, apply, blow dry pits again.
Let’s just say the Tom’s deodorant stopped working 45 minutes in.

I specifically asked my SO whether I smelled at all, and the answer is basically no - if she has her head in my armpit (she’s quite short) at the end of the day, maybe a little, but otherwise no.

How frequently do you wear/put on deodorant? maybe once a month. I used to have to wear it daily, but when I got pregnant, my body odor (including foot odor) just went away and hasn’t come back (my son is now 15). If I get really sweaty I may end up needing it, but not even usually then. It’s kind of weird.
**And how frequently do you shower? **2-3 days, but I have a bidet attachment on my toilet so I keep fairly fresh in the danger zone areas between times.

Male. Pretty much never. Once or twice a month at most. I try to shower every day, but if I’m not meeting up with anyone, I might skip a day. 35.
Male, 54. Shower twice a day usually (morning and after my workout) and apply deodorant each time because I got a couple of comments about my smell back in my 20s so I worry about it.
My wife has never used deoderant that I know of and she always smells nice.
Female, 40, Chicago, wear deodorant/antiperspirant combo every day, shower every day but might occasionally skip a day if I’m not going out (home sick, etc.).
I used to sweat a fair amount until I started using a “clinical strength” antiperspirant; now I never have that problem - in the armpits at least - except on the worst hot days. My husband used mine on a day that he ran out, and immediately decided he had to get some clinical strength as well; he walks several miles a day delivering mail, lugging a heavy bag with him, and this stuff helps tremendously against underarm sweat for him.
