I’m not sure my monitor didn’t impact my ability to tell some hues apart.

Your score: 8

I had trouble with the blue/greens. I guess I’ve always had trouble with colors like aquamarine and sea-foam green. Damn you cyan!!

I also took it on a tiny 11" laptop touch screen. I’ll have to try it again on a 24-inch screen soon.

ETA: I didn’t read all the posts in this thread, but I wonder if there’s a test where you arrange physical colored blocks by hue (ie, testing printed vs displayed colors)

According to the results chart, all my errors were in the “is it blue-green or is it green-blue”? range.

I scored a 16, then a 3 on second try. Female, age 20. My eyes are watering now…

I got 8.
Female, 26.
Reasonably happy.

Yes there is. The one I took 30 years ago was actually painted circles, each held in a plastic ring, placed in a long wooden box. It was fun then, too - although a tad harder than click and drag, of course.

I scored a 3; 45 male. Is that good?

Scored a 7; male, 30s. There were a couple of areas where I could tell the colors were a bit off, but didn’t want to screw around with it any more than I had. My wife scored a 15, which kind of annoyed her. We both had small clusters of errors in all three areas.

Male 42. Score 138. I also have some colorblindness so I guess thats not too bad.
I did get bored with it though so maybe could have done better.

I got a 0 on my laptop by the light of a bedside lamp. I’m 29. I found it very quick and easy-- each chip was noticeably distinct.

I also knew I had exceptional color vision-- my father has it too, and he’s certified to grade diamonds. I actually notice many items of cheap jewelry have slightly mismatched stones. When I painted our bedroom, I put four swatches on the wall and my husband swore three were all the same color. I have my monitors at work very finely calibrated so they match, and usually custom calibrate all computers & monitors I work with, because I find most screens have just the slightest of tints that really annoys me.

It can be a pain sometimes, because from lipstick to clothing to the paper for my wedding invitations, a can never find exactly the color I’m picturing.

Other 0’s. . . do you have bad night vision? My Dad and I both have sub-par night vision.

Night vision’s fine. Distance … not so much and astigmatic with it. Starting to lose my near vision too, yay - middle age!

Yay, I have perfect color vision. Quite exciting  Female, 26. And my night vision is okay, but if I’ve been sleeping and wake up, everything is blurry for a few minutes. Otherwise, I don’t have any issues.

::sigh::

Male, age 24, score: 107.

I always suspected I had color difficulties. The dark-brown to green and the light-blue to light-pink gave me the most difficulty. I could separate colors by groups of three but within those trios I had no idea a lot of the time.

Oh well. I don’t know why this has me so bummed out, but it does :smack:

I got a 4, too (male, 20-29); I’m kinda surprised, I wouldn’t have thought that I had good colour vision at all. And all my mistakes were in the last row, so it might just mean that I have perfect colour vision, but a short attention span!

I received a 0 too and it also looked pretty obvious to me. The ones that were off looked way off.

My night vision is very bad. I will not drive unless I really need to. I wonder if there is a connection as well?

Woo hoo! Zero. Looks like I get to keep my job. (graphic designer) Female, 25.

My night vision is ok, but it’s a little fuzzy when my eyes are tired. I’m also near sighted and I need new glasses, so I kept leaning close to the screen and comparing the view from over the top of my glasses to the view through the lenses. I’ve noticed I do that when I’m working now, too. Sigh. Stupid eyes.

I got a 0.
My night vision isn’t great, and seems to get worse each year. And driving in the rain at night…Forget it! I am 43.
