Where’s our resident Trump Whisperer? How would he manage to answer that question without admitting that he was wrong?

Possibilities: By saying it wasn’t his idea to hire Mooch? By saying Mooch lied about his qualifications? By saying he never liked the guy or trusted him, but was just trying to help out an undeserving loser?
